Today’s Immerse reading tells the story of Moses meeting God at the burning bush (Exodus 3). As he marveled at the strange bush, Moses heard God say, “Moses, set my people free!” Moses responded by asking, “God what qualifies me to lead your people?”

God’s answer is surprising: “You are qualified because you learning about Me. Your training alone does not qualify you; your skill alone does not qualify you. The ultimate qualification for spiritual leadership is learning about Me.”

Does this describe your prayer times? As you pray, do you listen to how God is revealing himself to you? Are you regularly learning more about God and how the Spirit functions? This experience is available for everyone, and turns prayer into power and devotional time into relationship.
